Movie on the Playground

We are very excited about our upcoming family night. We are going to be showing a G rated movie on a large projector screen on our playground. PTO is providing popcorn and Gwatney Chevrolet will be providing us with hotdogs---ALL FREE OF CHARGE.

All you need to do is bring the family, some lawn chairs, and come enjoy a night full of fun.

This will be held on September 29th at 6:00.

Mrs. Hill and Mrs. Kinder's class will have a reserved area for their blankets and/or chairs due to having the most participation on our sneak peek curriculum nights!

We hope to see everyone there!

Morning Bells

Students go to morning activity after drop off until 7:50 a.m. each morning. At 7:50 students report to their classroom and begin familiar reading. If at all possible, we would like all students to be in class at 7:50. Students are considered tardy if not in class by 8:00.

The teachers will open car doors in the back car rider line until 8:00 a.m. If a teacher is not at the car line, please bring your student into the office and sign them in.

Lunch Charges in Cafeteria

Please help us by keeping your lunch accounts current. You can always bring money personally or send it with your student. Please place it in an envelope marked clearly with your student's name and their teacher's name.

You can also take advantage of the options to prepay your student's meal accounts. Prepaid meal accounts gives you the peace of mind of not having to worry about looking for lunch money every day or worry that it might get lost, stolen or used for other things other than lunch. Pre-K button is below.

Cell Phones Prohibited in Car Lines

Cell phones are prohibited in our car lines.

  • Act 27-51-1609 states “…a driver of a motor vehicle shall not use a handheld wireless telephone while operating a motor vehicle when passing a school building or school zone during hours when children are present and outside the building.”

Help us keep kids safe by not using your phone in the school area.

Continue to send in box tops and labels. We want to make sure that we remain the top school for Cabot.
