Spring Time Dress Tips
At Little Mountain we strive to create a learning environment that is engaging and rigorous. As springtime comes and the temperatures start warming up, this is a reminder about appropriate dress at our elementary school. The handbook is linked with the school dress code.
Flip flops are discouraged for safety reasons (playground)
Shoes must be worn at all times
Pants need to have a belt if saggy
Skirts and shorts must be longer than fingertip length when arms are stretched alongside the body
Spaghetti straps, tube tops, halter tops, crop tops, mesh tops, or shirts that expose the stomach area are not permitted.
Clothing with inappropriate language, violence, sexuality, drugs, alcohol, illegal activities, etc. are not permitted
If a student has clothing such as this, they will have an opportunity to switch clothes by calling home. Otherwise, we will provide them with a replacement item. Thank you for your support to ensure your child is learning at high levels.

Message from Mrs. Moe
Conferences! It was fantastic to see so many families at conferences this week. Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedules to be present for your child. Conferences are an important time for families to connect with teachers and learn about the education their child is receiving. This is an opportunity to ask questions and seek clarification around your student’s progress. If you have questions, thoughts or concerns please do not hesitate to call or email me. amoe@mvsd320.org
Our next LME Community Group (Parent Group) meeting is the first Monday night back from Spring Break! These meetings are a great way to find out how to support the students of Little Mountain Elementary. We will be talking about some events in the planning stages, such as Literacy Night and Lion Run! You will also be able to hear how much money was raised at Movie Night at the beginning of the month and how much money there is in the budget to support students!!! We would love to have you join us at 6:30pm on Monday, April 10th.
