Farmington View Information
- Attendance: A reminder that good school attendance is 95% or better. That's missing less than 8 days for the school year. Here is our current attendance data
90%-95% = 73 or 24.5%
<90% = 22 or 7.4% (Stayed the same as last week)
We just started the third leg of the district-wide elementary attendance competition. The winning school receives a $1,000 to use for anything they need. Let's go for it this nine weeks.
Please take a moment to read the link below regarding Oregon's chronic absenteeism. It's quite interesting.
- Band/Music Concert: It was a full house last Friday night for our band/music concert. Thank you for attending this amazing event and a huge thanks to Mr. Fotland and Mrs. Walls for their preparation and tireless work.
- After School Clubs: This is a friendly reminder to pick up your student participating in an after school club at 3:45. We are having some issues with parents arriving after 3:45. For those of you picking up on child on time, thank you!
- Sumdog Math Competition: We are having a school-wide math competition using Sumdog. The link is below. The competition runs from now until 2/11. There will be individual winners along with a class winner. For a class to participate, at least 10 students need to log in and answer questions. We'll let you know the results next week.
- Hearing Screening: The document below explains the district's hearing screening protocol.
