Fine Arts Boosters' Mission and Vision

The Orangeville music department serves Orangeville students K-12th grade in music education through elementary music education, 5th-12th bands, 6th-12th choirs, and the yearly spring theater production.

We hope to bring many new educational programs, experiences, and opportunities to the students at Orangeville with the help of our Fine Arts Boosters organization and its volunteers.

Music Department Director - Mr. Collin Zier

Mr. Zier has been teaching the K-12 music program at Orangeville School District for four years. He loves working with the students and instilling a passion for music in them. His goal is to reach more students and teach them the joy of music while continuing to build the Orangeville music department into a thriving space for young people to discover and explore their talents.

Elementary Fundraising

The Fine Arts Boosters will use all elementary fundraisers to purchase a new music curriculum for the district. A complete curriculum for Kindergarten through 5th grade will cost around $4,000.00. To displace this cost and work on manageable fundraiser goals, the Fine Arts Boosters will purchase the curriculum by grade leaves, starting with Kindergarten & 1st grade. We plan to purchase kindergarten and 1st-grade curriculums in the next two years.

Below is the goal meter the Boosters will use to show our progress in reaching our goal for the 1st grade curriculum.

As you can see, we are already well on our way to our next goal, thanks to a large donation from a community member!

We Did It!

The Fine Arts Boosters want to say a HUGE 'Thank You!' to everyone who helped with the Cookie Walk at the elementary concert! Whether you donated cookies or volunteered your time to work at the Cookie Walk, we couldn't have been so successful without you. With the combined profits and donations from the Cookie Walk, the Boosters raised $536.40!

The Boosters also received generous donations from community members and student families, which helped us reach our first goal!

We are truly blessed to have such fantastic support from our Orangeville community members, student families, and the Orangeville staff. The Fine Arts Boosters and Orangeville Music Department couldn't do this without all of YOU!
