Book Fair is closing this Sunday, November 15th!
Parents,
Thank you so much for your continued support of our book fair! Not only are you putting books in the hands of your OWN readers, but you are helping to support our Ixonia PTO initiatives and ensure each classroom has a large variety of books for our readers. This book fair is open to anyone – Ixonia students, OVLC students, friends, family – anyone who wants to support Ixonia Elementary School and our local bookstore, Books & Co. in Oconomowoc!
Check out this short video to familiarize yourself with our Book Fair website: https://youtu.be/er9cypmiZO4
We also have some Book Talks to help you narrow down some titles your child may enjoy! https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1DNRXTe-U6Oe6E9rtEMiH7W1g_ou84OMj

Giving Tree
This is an opportunity for families who are blessed with so much, to give a little something back to families with a little less.
Here's how it works:
- Go to our sign up and select a gift to buy. Each gift is a wish item from a family in need.
- Purchase the item(s) you selected.
- Bring the item, wrapped, clearly marking which letter (A, B, C, etc.) the package corresponds to back to the school by December 4th.
The gifts will then be given to the families just in time for the holidays.
Thank you to all of the Ixonia families that make this tradition so special. Every year your generosity shines through and makes the holiday a whole lot brighter for families.
Congratulations to our October Fab Falcons!

Illness Guidelines
In late August, OASD district nurse, Christy Deal, put together this informational video. At the time, everyone was on information overload and we were just anxious to get children back to school. Now that we have been fully-operating and facing these illness symptoms, it is worthwhile to revisit this video. It is 13 minutes, but provides the clarification and explanation needed.
Take a look and feel free to contact Brooke Sambolin (sambolinb@oasd.org) or Amy Hunkins (hunkinsa@oasd.org), Ixonia's isolation room staff, for more clarification or information.
