Folsom Weekly Update
November 14-22
Message from Dr. Mazzoni
Dear Folsom Team,
Stokes Trip
I want to thank the Folsom staff that attended the Stokes trip last week. We appreciate you stepping away from your daily duties as a spouse, parent, teacher, and care-taker to support our 6th graders. The students had an absolute blast with their classmates and seemed to make new friendships along the way. The Folsom staff carried themselves in a professional manner throughout while also showing their fun side; especially on the dance floor!
Faculty Meeting
We are preparing for our monthly staff meeting next Wednesday. The agenda consists of an I&RS update by Mrs. LoSasso and Mrs. Storey. Next, Mrs. Petersen will share out awesome resources for Tier I, II, and III strategies. Lastly, Colonial Life Disability Insurance will take a few minutes to share out their current offerings with district staff.
Lip Sync Battle Contest
Reminder that the Lip Sync Battle is around the corner. There is only one show; starting at 6:30 pm on Friday, November 22nd. Please bring your families out to support our students and staff performances.
Engagement Announcement
Congratulations to Miss. Healey on her recent engagement to fiancé, Chris. We wish you and Chris only the best in the years to come!
Respectfully,
Matthew Mazzoni, Ed.D.
Go Falcons!

As teachers we are always striving to improve our instruction. How do we know we are asking the students the right questions? How many questions should we ask? What is the proper wait time? This article is a great resource with research based strategies to answer those types of questions:
