Homecoming Week Coming Soon! Here's the Schedule

Argyle High School's Homecoming Week is getting close! The homecoming festivities begin Sunday, Oct. 17 with the hall decoration. The carnival will be held Wednesday, Oct. 20 at 5 p.m. in the Argyle Middle School parking lot in front of the fieldhouse. Following the carnival, the pep rally will be held at Eagle Stadium starting at 7 p.m.

The carnival will include fun games and booths by different student groups. More details and a map of the parking and routes will be coming soon.

Hilltop Literacy Night & Book Fair Tonight

Hilltop Elementary is hosting Literacy Night and Book Fair from 6-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 30. This is a great chance to visit the book fair, engage in fun literacy games, enjoy a book walk and photo booth and more!

Principal For The Day!

The Argyle Education Foundation winner from last year for the West Principal for the Day was second-grader Ms. Kinsey! She enjoyed the opportunity to be principal for the day and it included reading to students and opening doors during dropoff. She was an awesome Eagle administrator!

No School For Students - Oct. 11 & Oct. 18

Argyle ISD students and staff will be off on Monday, Oct. 11. This will serve as a holiday for both students and staff. All campuses and offices will be closed.

Students will also be off on Monday, Oct. 18. This will serve as a conference day for elementary teachers and professional development for secondary teachers. Elementary teachers will be in contact with parents regarding conference times on Oct. 18.

Argyle ISD Campuses Celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month

Argyle ISD campuses are celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15. During this time, we recognize the achievement and contributions of Hispanic Americans. Libraries in the district are recognizing National Hispanic Heritage Month and Hilltop Elementary will highlight the contributions of Hispanic heritage and culture on literacy night tonight.

PINK OUT Night Coming Next Week

The Argyle Eagles will host Anna on Friday, Oct. 8 at 7:30 p.m. on PINK OUT Night. Students, parents and all fans are invited to wear pink to the game to support Breast Cancer Awareness.

AHS Choir Featured In Upcoming Insights Magazine

The Argyle High School Choir will be featured in the soon-to-be-released Insights magazine. The choir will be performing at the Texas Music Educators Association 2022 Convention in San Antonio. This is the highest honor a choir can receive in the state and AHS is one of just six high schools being honored this year. The fall issue will also include photos from the choir being featured at the Argyle ISD Family Day at the Rangers game.

Making Progress! Elementary School #3 In Canyon Falls

Check out the latest aerial photos of the new Elementary School #3. This campus is located in Canyon Falls off Denton Creek Blvd. and is scheduled to open at the start of the 2022-2023 school year. Groundbreaking for this PreK-5th grade campus was held in June and the foundation slabs are the next steps in the construction process. This campus was part of the voter-approved 2017 Bond package. Construction progress reports are presented to the School Board at each regular meeting.

COVID-19 Cases - Reporting & Dashboard

Argyle ISD is providing a COVID-19 dashboard to keep parents, staff, students and the community aware of the positive case totals at the campuses. The dashboard is updated by 6 p.m. each school day. The numbers are based on only cases confirmed through documentation with campus nurses.

EAGLE GAMEDAY: Argyle Opens District 7-4A Action

The No. 1 state-ranked Argyle Eagles return to action Friday on the road at Melissa. This is the District 7-4A opener for Argyle and kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. The Eagles are 4-0 and Melissa is 3-2 overall and 1-0 in district and coming off a 47-10 victory last week vs. Paris.

Lady Eagles Host Liberty Christian

The Lady Eagles volleyball team returns home on Friday to host Liberty Christian. Argyle is coming off a District 7-4A victory on Tuesday at Krum. The Lady Eagles varsity plays at 5 p.m. and the JV and Freshman teams play at 6 p.m.
