Students of the Week
Anastazea Chaiser - Zea has truly OWNED her education and has worked diligently to submit her assignments. This week, she worked ahead and finished out all the available course work for Chorus! I'm super proud of Zea's work ethic and her quality of work.
Jathan Smith - Jathan scored the most points in a single given day in CCMHS on Achieve 3000.
I am very proud of you Jathan, congratulations!
Elijah Lopez - Elijah has been owning his education, displaying a growth mindset and leading responsibly at his Distant Learning. I am so proud of Elijah and the growth that he has made this year, I have seen such a POSITIVE change in him. I am so very proud of this young man and am excited to see him move on to HS and succeed as an exemplary Coyote there!!!
Brian Kruder - He has always been such a respectful and responsible young man at school. I have had the pleasure of being his teacher for two years and I am proud of the young man that he is. He is owning his education in this Distant Learning platform, setting up Zoom conferences with his teachers when he needs assistance, and showing organizational skills to keep up with all his assignments. Way to go, Brian!
Marieliz Morales - She was extremely helpful to her 8th grade friend that was feeling very overwhelmed. She helped her create a plan that would work and reached out to the 6th grade ELA team to see how we could help her as well. She is an amazing student and friend!!!!

ACTION REQUESTED FROM ALL STAFF TO HONOR CLASS OF 2020!
If you haven't seen our Senior Pep Rally...this mimics what we usually do - it is very emotional for the seniors as they read all of the quotes. We also have music playing in the background - "I Lived" by One Republic.
There are many other portions of the video that we are creating, and it is sure to make an impact on our kids!
Update on Prom, The Growlers, Howlabration, 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony & Senior Breakfast
Prom - In order to honor our Seniors, our Junior Class & SGA have asked to use "The Roaring 20's" as their Homecoming Theme. This was going to be our Prom theme this year. While we are certainly disappointed that Prom had to be cancelled, our ultimate goal is to maintain the safety and well-being of all of our students and families in the Coyote Nation. We also will be planning another event during Homecoming week to honor our Class of 2020!
The Growlers are scheduled for May 11th at 6pm. We are moving forward with online voting and this event. Online voting will take place from 4/29 - 5/1. Voting links will be available on our website, social media, The Howler Hub, and posted on the MyLearning platform. Please take time to vote for the amazing accomplishments of our athletes & coaches. A virtual Growlers event will be available online on May 11th at 6pm for high school and at 7:30 PM for middle school.
9th-11th Grade Howlabration is scheduled for May 22nd at 10am. We will be honoring all of our students via a virtual ceremony that will take place on this date and time. Invitations will go out mid-May for this event.
6th & 7th Grade Howlabration is scheduled for May 22nd at noon. We will be honoring all our 6th and 7th grade students via a virtual ceremony that will take place on this date and time on YouTube. Invitations will go out mid-May for this event.
8th Grade Promotion Ceremony is scheduled for May 22nd at 8 AM. Although students will not be physically in attendance, this ceremony will ensure that our 8th grade students receive the recognition deserved for completing middle school and embarking on their final academic journey of their teenage years. This formal ceremony will take place on this date and time on YouTube.
Senior Breakfast is scheduled for May 26th at 9am. We will be honoring our Seniors on this date and time, virtually. Stay tuned for more information on this virtual celebration!
