News & Tidbits form 4th Grade at HRRS
April 4, 2016
I hope your Easter and Spring Break was as refreshing and restful as mine. It's hard for me to believe, but if we don't watch out, this year is going to zoom by before we're ready for it to be over! Only ELEVEN more weeks till this year is in the books! I hope we are all ready to work hard, to soak up a lot more learning packed into those short weeks.
Math- Chapter 6 Fractions- Test will be Monday, the 11th. Keep on hitting the IXL, those that practiced over break did much better today than those who took the week completely off.
Social Studies- We started looking at Washington weather today; precipitation, climate & elevation are related topics this week.
Language Arts- story genre- Realistic Fiction & Informational Text, Antonyms, researching a topic, as well as compound & complex sentences. Spelling Test- Thursday the 7th.
Science- we are gearing up to do a series of night sky observations, look for homework to that effect coming soon!
Thanks for all you do, parents!
Have a great week,
Mrs. Marthie Ramos
