US WW2 Propaganda

By Dylan DeFrees

There were lots of forms of propaganda and out of all the propaganda they had one major purpose to inform the people at home what was going on in there own way. They could inform people to do something or it could be a message to tell people don't do this or something bad could happen.
This picture is an example of how things can happen. It is a good message to people of what could happen if you tell other countries about where things are in the US. People can die if information is going to other countries and if you don't help out with your own then you will be going against your own country.

There are even some propaganda posters on who your allies are in the war. The people at home needed to know who our allies were during the war. The people at home needed to know that Britain and the United kingdoms were on our side in the war. Also Russia who helped us but they didn't help us directly and the U.S.S.R. were on our side in this fight. The last major ally the people needed to know was France that helped us in the long run.

The things that people did in there country had a major difference in the war. The people at home could give blood to make sure that the soldiers could live another day and come back to there country alive if they were wounded. Other people sent over food so the soldiers would have something to eat during the war they were fighting. Others couldn't do that so they brought metal to be melted down to make bullets, bombs, and other things that could be used in the war. They also brought tires and even vehicles to be made to help them in the war in what ever they could to make sure people would come back home safely.
