For Seniors!

Ms. Vargas recently sent you a senior survey in Canvas. A big thank you to those of you who have already responded. For those of you who have not, please complete asap! Also, watch for upcoming "In the Loop" senior meeting invitations coming in December for those expressing an interest in attending college. This invitation will occur through your Career Development course. Don't hesitate to reach out to Ms. Vargas (Grad Coach) or Mrs. Snyder (Academic Counselor), for any questions and all things senior.

PSAT information for Juniors*

If you took the PSAT as a 10th grade student and had scores close to the average qualifying score of 218, or you had section scores around 36-37 on each section (Math, Reading, and Writing and Language), you may want to take the PSAT again. Please note that just meeting the score does not automatically qualify you to be a Merit Scholar, but to qualify to be eligible. More steps are required after determining eligibility, in order to be a National Merit Scholarship designee. If you wish to take the PSAT in January contact HOA at 503-844-1050 ASAP. The deadline to order exams is Friday, December 4th, with no exceptions.

*Due to the test being required to be given in person, space is limited this year. Testing is open to Juniors only.

EL Support Meetings

Our English Learner Specialist, Zach James, is wanting to meet his students & their families! Parents & students will be able to schedule a one-on-one meeting with him, Mondays & Tuesdays (10 AM - 12 PM), through the Canvas Calendar (directions below). He will also have drop-in Office Hours on Fridays (10 AM - 12 PM) online.

Randomness is returning!

Middle & High School students will see a new "class" pop up for them in Canvas - but do not worry! This is purely for fun! Kristina will be posting random topics to discuss weekly and get to know each other!

If you'd like to suggest topics or questions, send her a message in Canvas!
