A message from Mrs. Rudder
Dear Penngrove Families,
At this time of year we concentrate on all the things for which we are grateful. The love of family and the joy that friends bring is always at the top of our list. It's wonderful to be able to take time to share turkey and all the fixings with those who are important to us! I want to take this opportunity to wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving. I hope you all enjoy the week off of school and have opportunities to gather with family and friends.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Rudder

Message about 6th Grade Outdoor Ed
Are you in need of some unique Christmas Gifts? Look no further, there are some great ideas in the Fall Mixed Bags Catalog! Not only will you be getting your shopping done early, you will be helping one of our awesome 6th graders go to camp. All orders are due Wednesday, December 15th! All paper forms can go into the office and all online orders can go to http://www.mixedbagdesigns.com/Penngrove-School. Our school account number is 192540.
See's Candy sales begins this Wednesday! You can sell your candy during Thanksgiving Break, it is the perfect little something to give to those who have everything! Please remember that all proceeds help our 6th graders go to camp! See's Candy orders are due December 1st.
Ice Cream sales continue this month on Wednesdays and Fridays. $1 per delicious treat. Also being sold at this time are Smencils, pencils that smell divine, for $1! It is a great little something when it is too cold for ice cream!
Message from the Library
We sold $10,592.30 worth of books at our Scholastic Fair this year, which equals $2,643.33 in profit. These funds will be used to purchase new books for our library. Thank you to all who supported our fair this year!
We have a growing list of lost books from our library. Please take a look around the house over the next two conference weeks to see if any library books are hiding at your house. The white spine label makes them easy to spot on personal book shelves and under couches. :) Thanks!
Message from the Garden and Environmental Education Program
Lots of stuff happening in the garden including a new mural being painted as we speak, pumpkin projects, and GEE going on hiatus until the Spring. Also GEE needs large sheets of cardboard!

Message from the PTA
First of all I would like to thank the wonderfully generous Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade parents for helping us shower the teachers with love and goodies at our staff brunch. I heard so many kind words from the staff about how much they appreciate your love, great job parents!!
The idea of a Giving Project has been brought up as an idea for PTA to support the student body in becoming socially aware and learning how great it feels to give back. With the Holiday Season approaching please keep your ears open for more on this wonderful idea!
Please join us for our next FOPPTA meeting. If you haven't heard our meetings are now in the morning every other month! Come have coffee, stay up to date on things happening at school and enjoy great conversation as always on Monday November 27th at 8:45am.
Hope to see you there!
