Meaningful Math - CPM at Woods
Teacher John Sheridan notes that CPM has high standards for students, and that "one of the best things about CPM is the thoughtfully-connected ideas." Teacher Rahul Dudhat concurs, and they agree that "there is a lot more room for discussion and depth" in the classroom now.
Another benefit is that it's a lot more fun! Students collaborate, participate, and communicate in hands-on activities and context-rich problems.
