A note from the Principal...

We have a lot of wonderful activities coming up this month! Please join us for the book fair, grandparents' day and parent night!

We appreciate everyone working together to improve the flow of traffic in the morning and afternoon.

EARLY DISMISSAL SEPTEMBER 29

All Cabot schools will be dismissed at 2:00 p.m. on September 29 for CHS Homecoming! Go PANTHERS.

Parent Night

Please join us Tuesday, Sept. 19th for a fun and informational night with your child's teacher! Be sure to visit with the Principals in the cafeteria for a Meet and Greet! Everyone will get a chance to enter their family name into a drawing for a gift certificate to the book fair! The Book Fair will be open during this time.

We hope to see you Tuesday at 6:00-6:30 or 6:30-7:00 P.M.

Grandparent's Day

We welcome Grandparents and Grandfriends to join us for lunch and a visit to the Scholastic Book Fair. Thursday, Sept. 21st for students with last names beginning with A-L and Friday, Sept. 22nd for students with last names beginning with M-Z. You are welcome to bring a meal for you and your grandchild or enjoy a lunch tray from our Eastside cafeteria. An adult tray is $3.75. We will have a photo booth set up and a photographer on site. Photos will be provided at no additional charge. We encourage you to purchase your tickets in advance by completing the Grandparent's Day RSVP that came home with your student. You may purchase your meal ticket on the day of the event also.

Lunch Information

If you are sending lunch money to school with your child, please write their first and last name on the envelope. This will ensure that the money is credited to the correct account. You may also pay online. Go to the Cabot School District webpage. Click on the Resources for Parents tab. Click on the EZschoolpay tab.

Additional Lunch Information


Students will pay for meals at the district’s published standard rate each day. A student will be allowed to charge a maximum of $10.00. Once a student reaches this limit, he/she will not be allowed to charge a meal. The district will provide an alternate meal daily to K-6 students who have a negative balance of $10.00. Sample lunch alternate: sandwich, veggie sticks, fruit and milk. Sample breakfast alternate: cereal, toast, fruit and milk.

Help Our School Earn Cash!

Please collect and send Box Tops to help our school earn money! Please make sure Box Tops are not expired! Box top sheets are available in the office. Students will earn a 50 cent coupon for the bookstore when they turn in a Box Top sheet.


Another great way to help our school earn money is through Coke Rewards! Please send in your Coke bottle caps or box tabs!
