APPLICATION DEADLINE MARCH 31st!


Apply for a PAID summer internship supported by the NoCo Manufacturing Sector Partnership and the NoCo Health Sector Partnership, and coordinated by Larimer County Economic & Workforce Development.


Positions are available in a variety of occupations! Not just traditional roles in manufacturing or healthcare.


21 positions within manufacturing companies available in a wide variety of roles, including: 3D Printing Technician, Electro-Mechanical Assembly, Marketing Assistant, Screen Making Technician, Shipping/Receiving Inventory Assistant, CNC Machinist, Jewelry Shop Learner, and more!


5 positions with healthcare providers available in various clinical and non-clinical roles, including: Human Resources/Finance/Public Relations, Personal Care Provider Assistant, and Youth Peer Specialist in Mental Health Services


  • Who can apply: Open to students age 16-18, graduating seniors may apply.
  • Pay rate: $17/hour
  • Hours/schedule: Interns complete approximately 250 hours during June-August.
  • Locations: Internships available in Loveland, Fort Collins, Windsor, Greeley, Longmont, Frederick, and Westminster
  • Credit: Students can earn elective credit, assigned retroactively.

inCompass Fast Track - Summer Internship & Employment Program for High School Seniors

Larimer County Economic and Workforce Development coordinates this program that provides transitional support with your employment and educational goals through workshops, resume assistance, interviewing preparation, and post-secondary guidance. Cash bonuses for program goal completion.


Multiple positions available. Apply today! Space is limited.


  • Eligibility: High school seniors on track to graduate, age 16-21 years old, U.S. Citizen and Larimer County resident who meet both low income and challenge to employment requirements outlined in the application
  • Pay rate: $17/hour
  • Hours/schedule: Interns complete approximately 250 hours during June-August.
  • Location: Internships available in various locations in Larimer County

Grounds Maintenance Summer Internship with TSD Facilities

Keep our athletic facilities in top shape with a PAID summer internship with TSD Facility Services. The intern will get to perform mowing operations, trimming, turf maintenance, irrigation maintenance and repair, and assist with building and installing fences and signage. This internship is a great option for student athletes with flexible scheduling to allow for practice schedules.


  • Who can apply: Open to current sophomores and juniors. Must be age 16 by start of internship, end of May 2023. 10+ positions available.
  • Pay rate: $16.00/hour
  • Hours/schedule: Work up to 40 hours/week, May 31st to August 5th. Flexible scheduling.
  • Location: School sites throughout TSD.
  • Credit: Students can earn elective credit, assigned retroactively.

IT Support Technician Internship with TSD Innovative Technology Services

TSD Innovative Technology Services hosts several different opportunities for students throughout the school year and summer:


  • School year internships - Course 5092 - IT Support Tech Internship. You'll gain experience supporting staff and students in your home high school through hardware and software tech support. Available at all high schools and open to grades 9-12.
  • Summer internships - A limited number of paid summer internships are available to process and ready all of the student devices for the new school year.
  • CareerWise Apprenticeship: Look for the IT Support Technician Apprenticeship this fall for a January 2024 start date. Starting wage $15.00/hour, multiple certifications earned.

Larimer County Conservation Corps

The Larimer County Conservation Corps is hiring for various positions on 2 crews for summer 2023. This is an awesome opportunity for young adults, between the ages of 18-25 years of age, to gain conservation experience, earn money, and potentially qualify for academic credit. Crew Members perform various conservation projects in Rocky Mountain National Park and Larimer County Natural Resources Lands. Corpsmembers are engaged in a combination of hands-on projects and service-learning activities focused on environmental awareness, community engagement and personal and professional skill development.


LCCC is hiring for the following crews:

  • Forestry Crew for Big Thompson, Button Rock, and Red Feather Lakes: Become S-212 certified for safe and effective chainsaw use. Complete tree removal, fire mitigation and restoration projects on public lands throughout Larimer County.
  • Trail Crew for Rocky Mountain National Park and US Forest Service locations in Larimer County: Perform trail construction/repair and maintenance projects. Camp for the duration of the summer, including backcountry (crews are expected to camp Monday – Thursday).


Positions available:

  • Crew Leader
  • Assistant Crew Leader
  • Corpsmember


Timeframe, schedule, and pay varies by crew and by position. Most positions start in May or June and end in August or September. Positions may qualify for academic or internship credit and/or an AmeriCorps Education Award (financial award).
