Principal's Message

Greetings HMS Families,

We are excited for our first Unity Night this year on Thursday. Our staff and students have been working hard to make it a great event showcasing the beautiful diversity of our community. Don’t forget, if you’d like to donate to this event or if you have any questions, please email hmsunitynight@ttsd.k12.or.us

Lastly, please read the guidelines for costumes on Monday. We want our students to have a great day and do not want to have to confiscate any inappropriate items or tell students they need to change out of their costume if they are discriminating against any group of individuals.

As always, thank you for your partnership and support!

School Climate Survey

On the morning of 11/8/22 Hazelbrook students will participate in the PBIS School Climate Survey during community meeting.

The School Climate Survey is an anonymous survey used to identify school climate issues within our school. There are 9 questions asking about students' experiences at school and should take no more than 10 minutes to complete. Students are also asked demographic information about how they identify. Click here to view a copy of the Student School Climate Survey questions. The data collected from this survey will be used to understand student perceptions of school climate issues within our school and how student identity may affect their school experiences. School staff will use the results to inform our efforts at improving our school climate.

Results are anonymous, but families are given the option for their student to opt-out of taking the survey. If you would like to opt-out your student, please contact one of our associate principals at the addresses below. Although we hope everyone is able to take the survey, we recognize some families may not want their students to participate.

Thank you!
