A family Newsletter: Week of May 13th

3rd, 4th, and 5th grade STAAR Information

Next week our 3rd, 4th and 5th-grade students will be taking the STAAR test! We have no doubt they are prepared and ready to do their very best! Please know that as a District and as Campus, we recognize that this is a one day, one test snapshot of information learned and in no way defines their success!! We know each one of our students exhibits #BAXTERSBEST qualities that allow them to reach their unlimited potential!! We are so proud of each and every one of them!!


3rd and 4th-grade students will take the Math STAAR test on Monday, May 13th and the Reading test on Tuesday, May 14th. Please make sure that your child is on time and prepared with a great breakfast to do their best!


5th-grade students will take the Science STAAR test on Wednesday, May 15th. Please make sure they are here on time and have had a great breakfast so they start the day off great!

Kinder Kamp

Kinder Kamp was held on Tuesday night and we had a great turnout! We are so excited about our new Baxter friends beginning with us next year!!

Ring Service Days

We will hold our Ring Service Days on Friday, May 24th. It was such a great experience in the fall and we are looking forward to the different ways we will serve this semester! Information about what each Ring will be doing is below!

Midlothian ISD Immunization Clinic

MIDLOTHIAN ISD IMMUNIZATION CLINIC

SATURDAY, MAY 18TH

9AM - 1PM

AT MIDLOTHIAN HERITAGE HIGH SCHOOL


MISD is offering an immunization clinic to all students on Saturday, May 18th from 9am-1pm at Midlothian Heritage High School.


Please bring your child’s shot record and/or the letter from your child’s school indicating what vaccines are needed.


This clinic will be extremely helpful for those entering kinder and 7th grade for the 19-20 school year. Please see

Along with the shot record or letter, please bring your drivers license and insurance card. Aurora Concepts will verify benefits onsite and/or determine those who might qualify for reduced immunizations. Those without insurance will pay $5 per vaccine.
