Twitter has now become one of the most visited sites in the world as well the #1 news source. Our students are already using Twitter so why not bring this trend into our classrooms? Having a classroom Twitter is very easy to intergrate and could be used to create discussions, collaboration between students, sharing classroom material, links to documents, announcements, and so much more!

"Web 2.0 Tool of the Month" - Penzu
Penzu is a FREE interactive website that is used for journaling or for any type of writing. It allows you to create your FREE account and start journaling as if you were writing in a paper notebook. It provides you with an unlimited amount of space and also allows you to add pictures, videos, links, etc. to it.
This is a great interactive way to get your students excited about writing and to engage them in a whole new way!
