EAGLE SOAR
OCTOBER 6, 2017
O'NEIL NEWS
We had a memorable Spirit Week. Our students enjoyed the dress up days with many participating. We would like to thank the high school students and staff for hosting the district-wide pep assembly on Friday. Our students enjoyed the opportunity to play games and cheer with the high school students.
Throughout the entire week our students demonstrated positive citizenship, pride in their school and community, and support for their peers. I feel so fortunate to be part of the CUES family. We have a special group of students and staff.

KEEPING CUES SAFE!
Parents!!! We are reminding parents to please not go to the classrooms in the morning. This is a very busy time for teachers, they are preparing for the school day. If you need to discuss a matter with your child's teacher, please email them or call the office to schedule an appointment. Also, please check in with office when entering the building.
Thanking you in advance!
WINNERS OF THE WONDER CONTEST!
Several classes at CUES are reading, or will be reading the book, Wonder, this school year. The author addresses bullying in a way that has inspired people around the world to "choose kind". Unbeknownst to her students, Mrs. Friday recently entered a contest that calls on classes to become "certified kind" through a variety of activities focused on kindness. Her students were SO EXCITED to find out yesterday that they had won a private, advanced screening of the movie Wonder!
Congratulations to Mrs. Friday's class!
