December 10th 4:30-5:30pm CST: Ideal for Hummingbird Duo users (available before January 2019)
Description: Join the Iowa Science Center and BirdBrain Technologies, makers of the Hummingbird Robotics Kit, to understand your Hummingbird Robotics kits better, and discover what you can do with them! Join Jolie Pelds from the Iowa Science Center and Kelsey Derringer from BirdBrain Technologies for a live webinar. We’ll explore the materials included in the STEM Scale-Up Grant maker cabinet awarded to schools across Iowa, with a special focus on the Hummingbird Robotics Kit (made by BirdBrain), and how it can be used with other maker cabinet materials. Kelsey will also cover features of the Hummingbird, how to use it with different technology options (laptops, Chromebooks, tablets, iPads, and smartphones), demonstrate the available free online resources from BirdBrain, and discuss projects and classroom integration strategies.
These webinars are best suited for Iowa teachers who have received the STEM Scale-Up Grant maker cabinet for 4th grade and up. No prior experience with coding or Hummingbird necessary! All are welcome. Click the links below to register for free!
