Tales of a 4th Grade Podcast

We are 4th graders who have a lot to share with you about the many things that we learn. Today, you will hear from a handful of students from our school. In this episode, you will hear about Greek Mythology, a book review on Save Me a Seat, jokes and riddles, and how a platypus uses a 6th sense. You will also learn about fractions, a fun game called Wordle, and an opinion essay about Zoos. Finally, you will also hear an interview with one of our teachers about Mindfulness. STEAM Night May 12th (6:00-7:00)

On May 12th, DES will host a STEAM Night for parents and students. Staff members will plan a variety of STEAM related activities for all those who attend.

The city of Donnelly has invited our staff and students to the new city park for a tree planting ceremony on May 13th. The city will distribute seedlings to community members during the event. Staff and students will walk to the new city park at 1:45 and return to school for dismissal at 2:50.

We are excited about the event and very appreciative our amazing community!!

Chess Night May 19th (5:30-8:00)

Yuri Davydov (BRMES Counselor) will host a Family Chess Night on May 19th, from 5:30-8:00, at Donnelly Elementary. Students and parents from both elementary school are invited!

We look forward to a fun night of chess and making new friends!
