WHY ECET2Lou MATTERS
Every ECET2LOU convening is planned by JCPS teachers, for JCPS teachers with a set of ingredients in mind:
- Nurtures trust among teachers
- Focuses on each teacher’s potential for growth
- Inspires both the intellect and the passion that drives teachers in their work
- Provides time for collaboration and learning
- Puts teachers in the lead
- Recognizes teachers as talented professionals
- Equips and empowers teachers to build the capacity of their peers
- GROW: ECET2Lou enables meaningful professional growth and learning among participating teachers - on-site JCPS connections and continued support.
- COLLABORATE: ECET2Lou enables participants to collaborate with peers in their schools, districts, and beyond - connecting JCPS teachers by choice, not a directive.
- LEAD: ECET2Lou empowers teachers to take action in their classrooms, schools, districts, and communities in meaningful ways - building JCPS teacher capacity by showing the HOW, the WHY and the WHO.
