For the safety of the campus, please do not park in fire zones in front of school. All fire zones are painted red and are located near the major entrances of the school. Cars parked in fire zones could be towed or ticketed. Please keep these areas clear for emergency vehicles.
Please make sure your child reads at least 30 minutes every night. Research says if a student reads every day for at least 20 minutes a day, they will hear 1.8 million words a year, and are more likely to score better than 90% of their peers. From the Principal
At MPE we have high expectations for our children and staff. Though we all work hard each and every day, we do take time to celebrate our efforts. This week some of our 5th grade students earned a Tech Day. Students were given some time to enjoy their devices. Our primary children got a chance use their points to have a Lego Play Day. On December 16th, we will have our 2nd quarter school wide PBIS dance party. We want our children to know that when we follow school expectations, we get rewarded.
Your Proud Principal,
Dr. Martinez
