What does Seperation of Power mean?
Seperation of Power means the division of basic government roles into branches.
The Three Branches of Government
Since the power is seperated into three branches, one group won't be too power full.
The Executive Branch
The power of the Executive Branch is vested in the President of the U.S.
The Judicial Branch
The Legislative Branch
The Legislative Branch is made up of the House of Representatives and the Senate, which together formed the U.S. Congress. The Constitution grants Congress the sole authority to enact legislation and declare war, the right to confirm or reject many Presidential appointments, and substantial investigative powers.
