October 23 - Originally scheduled Fall Break, now full day for students.

December 16 and December 17 - Originally 1:00 dismissals, now full day for students.

December 18 - Originally no school for students and PD day for staff, now full day for students.

Apply to College

We are going to be having our apply to college day on October 28th. All Seniors will apply to at least one college of their interest. Mr. Peter and myself will be assisting them to answer questions as they fill out forms and requirements for admission into the college of their choice. Please be talking with your Senior about what colleges they are thinking about applying to and know that they are able to apply to more than just one that day!

College Recruiters

There will be a number of colleges that will be coming into the building over the next few months to inform our students about their schools. Mr. Peter has set this process up for Seniors to meet with Recruiters during their study hall time. We will have all Seniors attend these times to make sure that they are well informed and possibly generate new interest for colleges. The dates that schools will be here will be listed in the important dates so you are able to ask your student about the schools. Juniors will have this same opportunity in the spring as they will be starting their College search process at that time.

Grab and Go Breakfast

At the high school we are doing a grab and go breakfast for all 7-12 students. This breakfast is provided free through the end of the first semester. Students are able to take this with them to their homeroom and eat before 1st period. They are serving hot breakfast through this program as well now, so tell your students to take advantage of this if they are interested. Teachers will have the menu for the grab and go breakfast Friday for the following week so students are able to plan accordingly.
