Major's Moment
There's so much that happened in the past two weeks. Below see the beautiful pictures of being in fellowship on our 2nd Sunday Fellowship and delicious Thanksgiving potluck. Our Thanksgiving service last week, followed by the United Service. We had visits with new friends this past week. Then you'll see the fun benefit dance that just happened on Tuesday. And here we are today, on the first Sunday of Advent. I'm thankful that there's an Advent season, to slow us down to take a breathe and really start focusing on the birth of Jesus Christ. May we enjoy being with each other, but most of all being with the Lord in spirit and in truth.

Ladies Night Out Christmas Party, Dec. 10, @ Major Shoshannah's house. Bring gift socks to exchange and wear an ugly Christmas sweater. Prepare for a night of fun - please bring a light jacket as we'll be meeting outside where there's enough space.
Silicon Valley United Worship
We heard scripture in multiple languages, enjoyed dance and song of Chinese, Korean, Hawaiian, and Hispanic backgrounds. We were then challenged to not only feel gratitude but to express it. As we gathered around the courtyard eating the delicious food from all over the globe, we basked in the goodness of God!
We are so thankful for the time we had together. We thank Captains Iliana and Caleb for hosting all of us, Majors Freeman for organizing the worship, and for YOU for coming out and joining the worship! A shout out to the women of Ladies Night Out who worked hard on wrapping those lumpia and for Majors Bill and Bernie Begonia for taking so much time to fry all the lumpia!!
