Classroom Rules
Señora Wallace
RESPECT OTHERS
Any successful environment is founded on respect. It will be expected that you respect EVERYONE in the classroom. This includes other students, teachers, substitutes, and visitors. An environment based on mutual respect is a learner-friendly environment!
USE SPANISH
Welcome to Spanish class where you will be expected to... you guessed it... USE SPANISH! Don't be afraid to make mistakes - they are inevitable. We cannot correct mistakes if we are not willing to use the language to begin with!
LISTEN TO DIRECTIONS
You are young adults. It will be expected that you listen to and follow directions the FIRST time! We must all be on the same page in order for learning to take place!
ENJOY CLASS
This is an elective course - you have chosen to take it! This class is meant to be a relaxed environment accompanied by high level thinking. Come to class with the right attitude, and we will all have a great year!
STAY ON TASK
In Spanish class, we will frequently be switching back and forth from activity to activity. It is imperative that you are focused and ready to go when you walk into class! Be prepared to work hard!
