4th Quarter Progress Reports
- On May 22nd, students will receive their current grade in PowerSchool as of Friday, May 15th, if they earned an A, B, or C.
- An incomplete “I” will be given to students who have earned a grade below a C or who have not completed enough work to earn a letter grade. For example, a student may have an “A” after turning only one assignment but may receive an “I” on their progress report. As an indicator, they would need to turn in additional work, or at higher quality, to earn a letter grade as a final grade in June. Teachers will be communicating what needs to be completed to justify a letter grade as this may vary by content area.
- Grades will fluctuate through the quarter as a student’s learning progresses and they make adjustments based on feedback. If your child would like to raise their incomplete grade to be able to receive a letter grade, work with the individual teacher on a plan of success.
- At the end of the quarter all incompletes will be converted to Satisfactory “S.”
- An “S” gives middle school credit for the class and does not impact GPA or honor roll.
During this unprecedented education experience, we are working to provide as much learning as possible. We strongly encourage participation in the model taking place and hope our feedback helps students progress. Please communicate directly with your student’s teacher regarding how students can progress.
