Fall Collection Event

The biannual collection event is hosted to provide Boone County residents a proper disposal and/or recycling option for their household hazardous waste & electronics.


Accepted Items:

¨ Antifreeze

¨ Brake Fluid

¨ Motor Oil

¨ Small Propane Tanks

¨ Glues & Adhesives

¨ Fire Extinguishers

¨ Fluorescent Tube Lights/CFL Bulbs

¨ Oil Based Paint/Thinner/Stain

¨ Pesticides/Herbicides/Insecticides

¨ Sharps

¨ Gasoline

¨ Household Cleaners

¨ Aerosols

¨ Pool Chemicals

¨ Thermometers & Thermostats

¨ Batteries (Automobile & Rechargeable)

¨ Electronics (Free, with the exception of a $10 Donation for Tube based TVs)


DO NOT BRING:

¨ Business or Industrial Waste

¨ Radioactive Waste

¨ Explosives (i.e. Ammunition, Fireworks, Flares, Etc.)

¨ Alkaline Batteries (i.e. AA/AAA/C/D/9V/etc. are Non-Hazardous)

¨ Latex Paint (Latex Paint is Non-Toxic & should be allowed to dry out (Cat Litter helps) until it is non-liquid, then place it in the trash)

¨ Tires - Will be accepted at the Spring Event in Lebanon on an annual basis
