Which Grade Levels Require Writing Booklets for the WIDA ACCESS test?
Grades 4-12: Writing prompts are online; students write their responses online.
Changes to the WIDA ACCESS Writing Tests
Students will spend roughly the same amount of time on each part of the Writing test.
There are no longer stop signs included in the online Writing test for Grades 4-12; students will be able to move through and complete the entire test without seeing instruction to wait for the test administrator’s approval.
Who Takes the WIDA ACCESS test?
The WIDA ACCESS is the English language proficiency assessment given to all Indiana students in K-12 who are determined to be English Learners. No EL student is exempt from participating in the annual English language proficiency testing, including all English Learners with IEPs or 504 Plans.

Authors Valerie Ellery, Lori Oczkus and Timothy Rasinski will present practical literacy techniques for helping students stay strong all year, finding creative ways to fend off the mid-year blahs, and ending the school year on a high note.
