100th day of school

Student will turn in a 100th day of school project. ONE HUNDRED can be represented by ones, twos, fourths, fifths, or tenths. Ideas; buttons on sweater, cereal in a gallon bag, beads on a string, or shapes on a page. This project is due Tuesday, February 7, 2017 100th day of school.

Comparing similar stories

Students in 2nd grade learn to identify the similarities and differences between similar stories. We have discussed, Lon PoPo (China) and Little Red Riding Hood as well as The Well Behaved Little Rabbit (China) and The 3 Little Pigs.

Science 2nd Grade


Task: Students are to create an aquarium. They were asked to bring a shoe box to class. Today they had time to paint the shoebox to create the background for their fish. Students are to create fish, corral and anything else that makes their aquarium accurate to real life.
