General Announcements

School Calendar Changes:

November 28th and 29th, NO School. Students return to school on Monday, December 2nd, 7:18AM.

November 27th- Early dismissal for students at 11:21 AM. No lunch served.

Parking Reminders

As the winter weather provides additional challenges during the morning and after school drop-off and pick-up, PLEASE abide by ALL City parking signs.


Dropping of students on the curbside of 20th avenue is a violation of city law and is a ticketable offense.


Cars parked on the boulevard combined with illegal curbside drop off, blocks buses and daycare vans, and has resulted in damage to side mirrors and doors.

Dress Your Student for the Weather

It is important for students to get outside and play as often as possible, so it is important to prepare your child for outdoor recess!

Family Information & Resources

Peguin Patch

This Year, the Peguin Patch Holiday Shoppe is making a return to Grewenow December 16th-20th. Check Wednesday folders for up-to-date information on how students can purchase gifts for their families and friends this holiday season.

Salvation Army Kenosha Christmas Toy Shop

Christmas Toy Shop sign up starts in November. Toys are eligible for families with children ages 0-15. Families need to bring: parent photo ID, current piece of mail with current address (within last 30days), school registration, immunization records or birth certificate for each child in the home. Distribution is December 13th, 14th and 17th.

Holiday House-Christmas Food and Toy Event: December

Holiday House is a consortium of local community agencies that provide holiday assistance to local children and their families through a coordinated community effort. Register at Women and Children’s Horizons, Community Action Agency, Urban League, ELCA Outreach Center, Cesar Chavez Learning Station, Kenosha Job Center. This event takes place in December, which provides a gift card to purchase food and toy for children 15yrs.old and under.
Need to bring: Picture ID, a Current Utility Bill (Proof of residency), Social Security card or Foodshare/Badgercare case number, Children’s SS card or ITIN numbers, Income amount.

Registration closes December 5th. Christmas toy and Food distribution is December 17th-19th.

Parent and Student portal: New version

This summer the parent and student portal will be updated to a new version. This version is available now for parents and student to try. One major change is where the online registration link is located.
