School Play Peter Pan Ticket Sales
Hello Family and Friends of our Peter Pan Jr Cast,
Our show is quickly approaching! Due to the quality of our RHE productions and audience enthusiasm we are instituting online advanced reserved ticket sales this year for our 2 evening performances. What does this mean? No more waiting in long lines or having to arrive hours early to secure a seat! This will also help our volunteer and production crew too as we will not have to manage the crowds waiting for seats while simultaneously preparing for the production.
An online link (see below) for ticket purchase at “showtix4u” will go live beginning Monday March 18th at 7:00 pm. You will be able to find this link below and on our RHHSA webpage, our school play page on the RHE website, and it will also be sent out through the Principal and RHHSA listerv. As in previous years online advance tickets will be available for $5.00 until midnight the night before the show. If seats remain after the online sale, tickets may be purchased at the door for $7. Please feel free to share this link with family and friends who want to purchase tickets to attend. Tickets are limited to 6 per person so it is in your best interest to forward the link to friends and family so they can secure their own seats.
We are so excited for the show and we think you will love it! We are also tremendously grateful to all who regularly support our school productions by attending this event. The funds raised through our play sales help support the following year's play including but not limited to purchasing our show kit, set construction, scenery, props, group costumes, microphones, and rental equipment, as well as easing the cost for individual student involvement.
Thank you for your support and patience as we attempt this new venture. We are confident it will add to the overall positive experience for our students and families. We are looking forward to two great performances!
- Tickets will go on sale this Monday March 18th at 7:00 p.m.
- Purchase tickets and select your seats through this link: https://www.showtix4u.com/events/16362
- Reminder the link will not "go live" until Monday night at 7:00 PM.
- If for any reason the direct link above does not work for you, go directly to https://www.showtix4u.com/ and search for Rolling Hills in the top search bar and Peter Pan Jr will pop up.
A letter regarding Peter Pan Jr optional merchandise including kiss the cast, t-shirts and wand sale will be forthcoming.
Sincerely,
Sam Smith, the Play Directors and the RHHSA
Clothing Drive - April 7th
On Sunday, April 7th from 9am-12pm, the RHHSA will be holding it's annual Spring Clothing Drive. Please donate your unwanted, gently used clothing, shoes/boots, coats, purses/wallets, belts, bedding/sheets, curtains, blankets/towels and even stuffed animals! Ask your friends, family and neighbors to consider donating too! Please bring all bagged items to Rolling Hills. We will be collecting behind the school at the bus circle. If possible, please use kitchen size bags and grocery bags, rather than paper bags or industrial size garbage bags, as they are easier to load onto the truck. All items help those in need and anything that cannot be used will be reused/ recycled. All proceeds benefit our school! If you would like to donate but cannot drop off that day, or for more information, please contact Erica Buchman ( ericabuchman24@gmail.com).
RHHSA By-Law Changes
The Rolling Hills Home and School Association board has recently made a few updates to our existing By-Laws. These By-Laws have not been updated for several years and were in need of a few minor changes to be better aligned with changes in technology, board positions, etc. This announcement will serve as the required 30 day written notice of the proposed amendments. Please see the attached PDF to review the amended By-Laws and submit any questions or concerns to the RHHSA board. These changes will be voted on by all members present at our May 7th Home and School meeting. Thank you!
Chess Club
Due to a cancellation earlier in the year, there is one more Chess Club meeting for the winter session. However, it will not take place until March 19th. There will be no Chess Club on March 5th or March 12th. Mr. Yakobashvilli will be away coaching the United States Women’s Olympic Chess Team. We’ll see all of our chess players on March 19th!
Please see the flyer below for the spring session of Chess Club:
