Online Student Expectations
East Ridge students who are taking online courses through SoWashCo Online and in person classes at ERHS are welcome to work in the media center during their scheduled online class. The Media Center is designed to be a place where students can work on their coursework. Students must follow the behavior expectations in the Media Center, or this privilege can be taken away. East Ridge students who are taking an online course are allowed to leave campus during their scheduled online hour(s). Students with a fourth hour online course will have A Lunch and the Media Center will be closed during A Lunch. Full-Time PSEO and SoWashCo Online students are not allowed on campus during the school day.
ERHS ONGOING INFORMATION
Report an Absence
Families can now report their child's absence online via Campus Parent Portal. Log in on a computer or download the app from your app store. You can use the Absence Request tool to submit a request that informs the office in advance when your child is not going to be in school. After the request is processed, Campus creates an attendance record for your student.
School Building Hours
When school is in session, students can enter the activities entrance (Door 11) at 7:00 am or the main entrance (Door 1) at 7:30 am or the bus lot entrance (Door 38) at 8:00 am. Any students arriving after 8:30 am will need to enter the main entrance (Door 1).

Xello
We are very excited to share a new tool available for your students to help them prepare for their future. Xello is replacing Naviance.
Xello is an engaging online program that helps students build the skills, knowledge, and plans to be future-ready. The program uses an investigative, discovery-based learning process. Students better understand themselves, their future career options, and the 21st-century skills they’ll need to succeed.
Xello is available to students as a link on their Chromebook desktop. Counselors will be introducing students to Xello throughout the year.
University of Minnesota Open House
The University of Minnesota is hosting an event on October 8 for multicultural high school students. “Experience Minnesota: An Open House for Multicultural Students” is a high-energy, once-a-year event that gives students the chance to experience how, as a U of M student, they can expand their horizons, discover new passions, and accomplish their dreams. Click here for more information and to register.
