RtI Update...
1. Come with a clear focus - not just academics, but narrowed to a specific area (Math - number sense...)
2. Bring the data to support your concern - MAPS, Moby Max report, pre/post classroom assessments, examples of work...
3. Fill out the paperwork (you can request paperwork from Hafey) - especially the Tier 1/Tier 2 Zone documentation (date that the intervention/support began, what support was given exactly...)
I Do...We Do...You Do...

Writing SLO's
Please keep various samples of writing throughout the year to chart the growth so that changes can be made if necessary! I would recommend keeping your first Writing on Demand assignment!
NHS
Hello there.... Hoping you all will want to participate again this year....
Every year, my NHS students participate in Trunk or Treat. This year they will do it during the downtown Trick or Treating on October 31st from 4-6pm. Trunk or Treat is when the students decorate their cars and themselves with a theme and then hand out candy to the trick or treaters......
So....They need A LOT of candy.... in the past, NHS buys some candy and they buy it out of their own pockets..the issue is, they still run out of candy. Last year the four schools donated 111 pounds of candy. We are hoping for 200 pounds of candy this year - if the schools can hit the 200 pound goal, we will have TWO PRIZES FOR THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS! (See below)
Here's where you come in: We would like to have a contest between the elementary teachers to see which elementary teachers and paras can donate the most candy to NHS for the Trunk or Treat contest....
There are two prizes this year!
1. The elementary school who wins will have the entire NHS group at their disposal to do whatever you would like for an hour - these are 32 high achieving, fantastic role models for your students at your disposal for whatever you all decide. My NHS kids can come all together or in smaller groups rotating or all at the same time... whatever you would like.
OR
2. The MCHS cast of Annie will come to your school to perform 20-30 minutes of the musical to the students in your school.
