The Skipper Scoop

Week of May 6th

We WON!!!! Harding is a Fox 8 Cool School! The fact that we got more votes (by a thousand!) than a school three times our size does not surprise me one bit. I have said before when the Fairport community decides it wants to do something, it gets done and does not disappoint. We have so much to be proud of at Harding and we will get the chance to shine this week. Your support of our school means so much to the students and staff and we thank you for your vote. Fox 8 will be here Wednesday to see the great things happening at Harding. The footage will air on Thursday morning from 6:30-6:50 AM and again on the 4 PM newscast.

This week marks my return to school from medical leave and I am thrilled to be back! Please reach out of I can assist with anything.

Make it a great week Skippers.

Mrs Rumbarger

Teacher Appreciation Week

A special shout out to all the teachers out there, especially our beloved Harding teaching staff. Our teachers deserve more than a week of appreciation, but this week we want you to know how much we value you and your hard work.

The Academic Boosters provide a scrumptious lunch for our teachers every year and we thank them for their kindness as well.

News From the Health Office

All students entering the 7th grade are required to have one dose of the meningitis vaccine, in addition to the current requirement of the Tdap vaccine. A second dose will be required before entry into 12th grade, which can be given after the 16th birthday.

All 12th grade students will be required to have two doses of the meningitis vaccine prior to the start of school. (If the first dose of this vaccine is given on or after the 16th birthday, only one dose is required.) As physician's offices and the health department get very busy during the summer and at the beginning of a new school year, it is HIGHLY recommended that you have your student vaccinated as soon as possible.

Contact Mrs. Bodi if you have any questions.
