Winter Crafts! (A Message from Megan Larson)

Happy December everyone! My kiddos and I were trying to think of a way to brighten our spirits, as well as those of others, and decided to make winter crafts and decorations for the residents and healthcare workers at Three Pillars in Dousman. Feel free to join us if you are looking for a little way to make someone smile in these tough times! My sister is a longtime nurse there and said that her residents would love some happy handmade decorations to look at!! She did note that they try to keep it winter related vs strictly Christmas to accommodate the wide range of people living there . Plus, then they can keep them up all winter long️. They like things to put on their doors, wreaths for example, or table decorations for their dining room and personal rooms. Feel free to make whatever speaks to you and your children!

I will have a bin at east campus where you can drop off your creations when you do the next packet pickup! (December 16th- 18th)

I know that many of us are overwhelmed already so please do not feel obligated, just putting it out there in case anyone was looking for something a little extra!!

Thank you!
Megan Larson

  • Announcements: Beginning next week (12/7), I will have announcements posted for OVLC students on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Please encourage your child to make time during his / her day to listen to hear about upcoming OVLC news and remain connected to our school community.

OVLC PTO

In our fall feedback survey, some indicated an interest in starting an OVLC Parent-Teacher-Organization (PTO). If you are interested in starting a PTO and would like to be involved, please indicate HERE. We will plan to meet first on January 12th at 6pm virtually. From there, we can determine the goals of the OVLC PTO, a meeting schedule, and so on!

Thank you for considering!
