Nourishment for the mind

It may be the beginning of autumn, but it’s not too early to start thinking about summer… reading, that is. We have a solid group of staff and students that have signed up to be on the committee to select the summer reading books for LPHS in the summer of 2020. However, it is not too late to still participate. Here’s how you can help!

Provide a suggestion of a book that you would like to see considered as a reading option for the summer reading list. If you are looking for a list of books that might prompt some good suggestions, check this out!

Have you been looking at infusing new pedagogical techniques into your classroom? Are you taking a graduate class and need research and articles on teaching? Explora Educator Edition searches two databases (ERIC and the Professional Development Collection) which include like a gajillion professional journals for educators.

We are bringing last school year back. We placed our old newsletters in an easily accessible location- our website (lancerlibrary.org). At the bottom, you will find a link to all past issues of the newsletter listing what is contained in each issue. So, if you are wondering what newspapers we get electronically, how to access our e-books through Sora or magazines through Flipster, and more, check out our archives!
