What was the change?
The change was the scientific revolution and other discoveries, The scientific revolution was a new way of thinking about the natural world. Scientist made discoveries of physics of how the solar system orbits.
Who were the people associated with the change?
Galileo
Galileo was an Italian physicist, mathematician, astronomer, and philosopher who played a major role in the Scientific Revolution. He was under the treat of torture,he knelt down before the cardinals and read aloud a signed confession,in it he agreed that the ideas of Copernicus were false. The church didn't agree with Galileo and threaten him of torture, that why he agree to read the confession aloud. Galileo was never a free man again and he lived under house arrest for the rest of his life. He died in 1642.
copernicus
Astronomer, Nicolas Copernicus identified the concept of a heliocentric solar system, in which the sun, rather than the earth, is the center of the solar system. Copernicus work didn't publish quick because most scholars and clergy would reject his theory cause it was against their religion/beliefs. Copernicus died in bed after suffering a stroke on may 24,1543.
Kepler
Kepler concluded that certain mathematical laws govern planetary motion. He continued the work that Copernicus left. He is best known for his eponymous law of planetary motion. Kepler died on November 15,1630
How is that change evidenced in today's modern society?
we still use evidenced in today's society, like scientific method in mathematics. The new technologies from the revolution and we also used some creations that the scientist made like the telescope and thermometer.
