What is Malware?
Malware is any and all computer viruses, bugs and malicious programs (software) it is basically a program created by someone and does whatever it is told. it can be used to slow down a computer, spy on your accounts, delete files etc. it can come in many forms but there are mainly 3.
How you and everyone else can avoid it.
it is pretty simple to avoid contracting any type of malware. one of the easiest and best ways to avoid it is to get an antivirus program for you device such as Norton, or one you trust. a firewall can also help protect your electronic device. the easiest method however, is your basic common sense. if any program or website seems risky then just don't download or click on it!
The 3 Main Malware Types
Viruses
Viruses are transmitted through contact with an infected device and can make your device slower, make programs slower make them glitch or even delete files all together.
Trojan Horses
A Trojan Horse is usually a malicious program attached to a software or program that people think is good, when in reality you are downloading a virus of sorts.
Spyware
Spyware tends to spy on you, your internet activity and your accounts, files and passwords for some purpose that can range from identity theft to fraud.
