A Christmas Carol
The Play
A Christmas Carol
You should go see the play A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens because it's very specific and full of detail. One of the ghosts, Marley's ghost, is raised up through the floor to make it look like he floated up through the floor to make it more interesting. The costumes looked just like I imagined them and the sound effects are amazing. There was a thunderclap whenever a ghost came onto the stage and there was visible effects also. They added smoke too. The singing was amazing also, the actors didn't have to use microphones to project their voices. I also thought it was interesting how they moved bigger sets like Scrooge's house. In conclusion I think this play is so much better than the book. It is very well done.
Sacrifices Made
Scrooge had to give up his money to the poor and he also had to sacrifice his selfish ways. This was tough for him because he had never done that before and he didn't want to do that in the first place. I had to sacrifice a family movie night on a Tuesday for Boy Scouts. This was tough for me cause they were watching The Wolverine.
