Weekly Message - March 10, 2023

Have a GREAT and SAFE Spring Break!!!

Read-A-Thon

We want to thank all the students and families who participated in the Read-A-Thon! It was a huge success! We are so proud of our readers! We read a total of 90,591 minutes and raised $27,545. With your support, we were able to have a successful fundraiser and spread the joy of reading to all our students! The funds raised will be used towards continuing to build a strong literacy community and ensure the development of all our readers at Pinnacle Peak.

Throughout the Read-A-Thon we were able to offer school-wide prizes like popsicle parties, extra recess, books, posters, pencils, bookmarks and dog-tags. The Read-A-Thon company also offers prizes. Readers need to make sure to spend their prize money by Monday, March 20th, 2023. Any prize money not spent by Monday, March 20th, 2023 will no longer be available. The prize store cannot be reopened once it is closed. After this ten day window, all prizes will be shipped to the school and Ms. Ogden will distribute them. Thank you in advance for your patience!

STEM Cardstock Needed

Mrs. Rometty is going to be doing paper roller coasters with 5th and 6th grade and needs A TON of cardstock paper. If you would be willing to purchase some and drop it off at the office that would be greatly appreciated. A normal package comes with 300 sheets and she is looking for 4200...so we need quite a few! Thanks in advance for support STEM!!
