Principal's Message
Although it was a very cold Sunday morning, two of our finest fifth graders set up shop outside the post office with a donation table and a variety of "Thank You" gifts. The girls decided that it would feel better to them if they gave thank you gifts for the donations instead of selling items. The gifts ranged from baked goods and homemade bracelets to other unique crafts that they made. After two hours, they had raised $84 for the cause.
Hearing stories like this are so inspiring because I know that the strong partnership that exists between our staff, students, and parents is developing citizens who will make our future world a better place. Great job everyone!
Have a great weekend!
Best,
John

Bikes, Scooters, Skateboards, Hoverboards, etc.
Bikes/scooters/skateboards/etc. must be walked while on school property for the safety of our walking students. Bikes/scooters should be secured to a bike rack with a lock. Any other "ride on" must be able to be stored in the student's locker. Students must wear helmets when riding these items.
Hoverboards/Swegways: These should not be brought to school for a number of safety reasons.

District-Wide Spring Concert
Manchester Essex High School Auditorium
Dress Rehearsal Tuesday May 3, 2016 7:30-8:30 a.m.
Concert Wednesday May 4, 2016 7:00 p.m.
I need parent volunteers to supervise our young musicians during the dress rehearsal on Tuesday May 3rd from 7:30-8:30 a.m. while I conduct the 2 bands. An extra set of eyes would also be helpful at the concert on May 4th 6:30– 8:00 p.m. The children will be in their warm up room prior to performing on stage and your presence in the room would be extremely helpful. Thank you! - Richard Carpenter
