This week in literacy, we have been reviewing our Digraphs , Initial Blends , Magic "e" and Bossy "r". We also practiced reading and will continue to do so until the end of the year.


This week, we read "A New Dog" in our story lesson. Students got to show their comprehension skills by retelling the story in their own words, adding a scene to make the story more fun, and changing the ending. Each student also got to read a leveled ORT story in our guided reading center.


Number Words :

Our children are able to Identify and match number words 1-10 to digit numbers .

More / Less Than:

We learned how to compare between two numbers using the more/less than sign.

Children learned about how we need to exert a force to be able to push and pull objects.
