What is Copyright?

Copyright is the exclusive legal right, given to an originator or an assignee to print, publish, perform, film, or record literary, artistic, or musical material, and to authorize others to do the same.

Public domain is not protected by copyright law.

Freeware is copyrighted work that you can use, copy, and give it away for free.

Shareware is copyrighted work that is similar to freeware, must pay but does come with free trial

All rights reserved can be used by the purchaser according according to the license agreement.

Open Source is software that includes the source code that the someone can improve it.
