Fall Sports at NCCS
Varsity Volleyball Recognition
NCCS Varsity Volleyball recently received the OSAA Sportsmanship Award! This is a recognition program that gives OSAA sport officials the opportunity to highlight the positive sportsmanship that they see on the court.
In a recent match, our Varsity Volleyball program exhibited the great qualities that the OSAA looks for in teams, programs, and communities across the state, and a match official noticed! OSAA presented awards at the 1A district playoff game, where our team was given the Sportsmanship Award, along with the 1st place trophy, and Coach Nelson also was recognized as COACH OF THE YEAR! The next State playoff game is at NCCS on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 5 pm (entry fee $8 adults/$5 students).

Junior High After School Expectations
We have adjusted our policy regarding junior high students leaving campus after school. After school hours (3pm), if a student leaves campus, NCCS no longer assumes responsibility for their whereabouts or safety. Please remind your students of safety practices if they will be leaving campus alone without adult supervision.
We will not be checking students in and out of campus or keeping track of who is here, off campus, or where they are going. Students can still use the library as a space to do school work, 3-4:30 pm. They’re now free to leave the library, walk to Winco or surrounding areas, and can return to the library or gym if they have practice or wait to be picked up.
Thank you for discussing this matter with your student so that they are aware of your expectations for them after school is dismissed at 3 pm.
Hot Lunch Menu For November
Thank you for your patience as we navigate through this new hot lunch program. Our rep has been working on a replacement for Chick-Fil-A for Mondays. In the meantime, we are glad to still be able to offer 4 days of hot lunch options to our families. November's menu is now available on the order website.
