Timeline
of My reading history
When is was a baby my parents read these kinds of books to me. Along with other books like Kissing Hand and Goodnight Moon.
When I was a toddler these were the kind of books my mom and I would read together.
This book was perfect for little kids because the words are 3 colors pink purple and blue one person reads the pink one person reads the purple and then you both read the blue
These are some of the kinds of books that I first read. Picture books were some of the first books I read by myself (with a little help). Every night i would read 1 book to my parents.
these were the first kinds of chapter books I read. I also read books like magic tree house and the boxcar children
These were the kinds of books I read in 3rd or 4th grade. What I remember about this book is Greg Hefley, the main character, was trying to survive middle school and be the most popular kid around. But, it's hard to do that when you have the cheese touch.
This was my favorite book in 5th and 6th grade. This book is about a kid named Hugo who was trying to put together a mechanism of his father's while trying to run from some guards since he was living alone.
This was a book I read in 7th grade. It's about a girl named Katniss fighting to save her life. She was one of the members of the games and she was brave.
When I look back at the books I have read, I notice that when I was young I liked silly books like Junie B. Jones and Dr. Seuss. As I grew older, the genres changed into more fantasy, like Hunger Games and Hugo Cabret. But now I find myself leaning more toward realistic fiction. The book I am reading right now is Wonder. This book really interested me because the beginning hooked you and that's something I've noticed about me and reading books. They have to hook you quickly. The books I like have changed, but they are all fiction.
