Utah Ballroom Dance Company

Once again, many thanks to the Methow Arts Alliance and all of their sponsors for yet another outstanding performance. Our students were elated with these talented dancers!

Celebrating Kindness in our School

Our counselor, Katie Abrahamson and the amazing management at Jess Auto have joined forces to celebrate and honor acts of kindness during the months of January, February, and March. Each month, a teacher will nominate one student from their class who goes above and beyond to show kindness to others. The students are then showcased on a bulletin board and honored at our monthly Golden Awards Assembly. At the assembly, each student who was nominated goes into a drawing for a new bike and a helmet donated by Jess Auto. January's winner of the bike drawing was Isaiah Timentwa (pictured below). East continues to be extremely grateful to Jess Auto for their generosity and support of our school.

Book Fair Family Night

Many thanks to our librarian, Vicky O'Dell and the 3rd grade team for hosting a "Wild about Reading" family Night. Hometown Pizza was served, games were played, crafts were created, and books were purchased...it was a very successful night! Many thanks to the MacDonald family and Ryan Holz for serving up pizza! Lisa Demmit was instrumental with helping during the book fair!
