The Weekly Hoot
May 23-29, 2016
Greetings All -
Whew!! What a week! It is Thursday afternoon and I am doing the Hoot now. I knnow I will be too worn out tomorrow to write it, and I am sure you all will be wayyyyy too worn out to read it!
This past week and tomorrow was and will be chock full of activity, but I know that we created some great memories for our students and that makes it all worth it!
Everyone has been notified of where their room assignments are for next year via the map yesterday and conversations. If you want to use "student muscle" next week to move anything (if you are changing rooms), please do so, but remember that it has to be packed up where it can be easily moved out for custodians to clean this summer. Do not move furniture yet, unless it is your personal furniture. Based on the inventory sheet, we will have the furniture moved this summer.
We are ready and willing to begin working on signing off on those checklists so let us know when we need to. Anything that physically needs to be turned in, such as Academic Boxes, teacher handbooks, etc..., can begin to be brought to the front office on WEDNESDAY. Please do not turn in your Emergency Folder until Thursday after students leave.
Prepare yourselves, as you know this next week is a hectic, busy time. I know the kiddos are very active and excited right now. Try to be as patient as you can. It is almost summertime!!!! Let the countdown begin!
Love,
Marcy
Owl Wings This Week Go To...
Bridget Coronado, I know you are totally stressed to the max right now! Just know that I know tomorrow is going to be grand! Thanks for all of your hard work in planning it out so thoroughly, as well as all of your work on the day of. You are amazing!
Kirby Borski, thank you for being Bridget's sidekick this week. Your organizational skills are second to none and I know they have been very much appreciated.
And to all of you out there in the green hall, red hall, yellow hall, new and old blue hall trenches.... you are much appreciated!! This time of year is like childbirth. If you remembered it afterwards, you would never do it again. Thank you all for being the people you are and caring about these students, even when they are wild and crazy right now. All of you deserve Owl Wings for this past week and next. 5 1/2 days...let's do this!
