Fourth-grade students at Highland have been studying hurricanes and have read several books about hurricanes. To finish their unit, they were asked to write a narrative about a person or animal who has experienced one of the hurricanes they have studied. Like all good narratives, their stories needed illustrations, so the students created illustrations of their stories today. Next week the students will share their narratives and their illustrations with the class.
